The National Government Service Platform Client is sponsored by the Office of the State Council, with the Government Affairs Office of the Office of the State Council responsible for operation and maintenance.

As the central hub for national government services, the National Government Service Platform focuses on three main functions: public entry, public channel, and public support. It provides unified support services for national government service platforms in various regions and departments, including a unified government service portal, unified government service item management, unified identity authentication, unified electronic seals, unified electronic licenses, and unified data sharing. These services aim to achieve four main functionalities: supporting online access to services, aggregating data information, facilitating exchange and sharing, and strengthening dynamic supervision. They address prominent issues in cross-regional, cross-departmental, and cross-level government services, such as difficulties in information sharing, lack of business coordination, and insufficient infrastructure support.
