Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) refers to the traditional medicine of China. It is a discipline that studies human physiology, pathology, disease diagnosis, and prevention and treatment. TCM carries the experience and theoretical knowledge of ancient Chinese people in fighting diseases. It is a medical theoretical system that has gradually formed and developed through long-term medical practice under the guidance of ancient materialistic and spontaneous dialectical thinking. In terms of research methods, it is guided by the holistic view and the similarity view, based on the physiology and pathology of Zang-fu organs and meridians, uses syndrome differentiation for treatment, and contains simple systemic theory, control theory, fractal theory, and information theory.
