The mapPoints application offers a practical solution for individuals looking to manage their custom locations effectively. It serves as an ideal tool for travelers aiming to keep track of their favorite spots and document their journeys, while also catering to outdoor enthusiasts engaged in activities like hunting and fishing, where precise coordinates are essential.

This application provides four distinct methods to store locations:

• Your current location
• An entered address
• Custom latitude and longitude coordinates
• Placing a pin on the map at any desired location

Importantly, all stored location information is editable, allowing for adjustments as needed.

mapPoints includes a feature that enables users to draw lines between selected locations displayed on the map. Users can create a pathway from:

• Their current location to the last selected location
• Their current location to the first selected location
• All selected locations, excluding the current position

This functionality is particularly useful for calculating distances between points on the map, with the measured distance conveniently displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.

The application also features a GPS accuracy meter on the main page, alongside optional displays for heading and altitude, providing users with valuable navigational information at a glance.
