These individuals, often overlooked in traditional textbooks, represent the unsung heroes whose sacrifices shaped the nation's history.

This app is available for free, and notably, it is devoid of advertisements, being wholly financed by the developer's personal resources.

Upon installation, users receive push notifications on the anniversaries of these independence activists' passing, fostering a sense of remembrance and connection to their legacy in daily life.

The app also serves as a platform for sharing validated accounts of many patriots who have not received formal recognition for their contributions to the independence movement. The 'Forgotten Heroes' bulletin board features these stories, with the app having functioned similarly to a civilian veterans affairs office for the past five years, successfully bringing awareness to 420 individuals whose histories remain unrecognized. With a growing membership of 320,000 users, it stands as Korea’s first nonprofit historical education app dedicated to sharing a spirit of patriotism.
