What is the Schulte Grid?
The Schulte Grid is one of the simplest, most effective, and scientifically grounded methods for attention training globally. It not only facilitates the measurement of attention levels but also serves as an excellent training tool for enhancing concentration, control abilities, peripheral vision expansion, speed reading skills, visual stability, discrimination, and search orientation. To prevent memorization biases from repetitive use of identical grids, we have developed a system that randomly generates layouts for each session. The sequence of numbers appears distinctly each time, truly challenging these cognitive abilities.

The capacity for focus and rapid reading is vital throughout life; it significantly influences both children aged 5-12 and adults over 20 in their educational and professional endeavors. A lack of focus may severely hinder exam performance, diminish learning interest, and erode confidence—further impacting career choices. Likewise, the ability to read quickly is crucial in everyday work settings, improving test scores, work efficiency, and self-assurance.

The Schulte Grid consists of a square card featuring 25 boxes arranged randomly with numbers 1-25. The task is for the individual undergoing training to identify these numbers in sequential order as quickly as possible. This not only serves as a tool for testing attention but also as a method for honing it. Recognized as a highly accessible training technique worldwide, it is commonly used by pilots and astronauts while also proving effective for students; consistent practice yields noticeable improvements over time. For instance, the current national record holder is astronaut Yang Liwei, who accomplished this in just 3.04 seconds.
