It recommends great restaurants, budget-friendly hotel accommodations, all without the hassle of planning. Instantly transform from a lazy traveler to a savvy explorer! Plus, it offers offline maps!

• Zoom in or move the map to explore the top recommended attractions and restaurants within the map area
• Filter by categories such as attractions, food, hotels, and transportation
• Click the save icon to bookmark your desired travel destinations or restaurants
• Each attraction provides recommendations from Backpacker's Inn, blog posts from platforms like Pixnet, Google search results, Google Images, and other reference materials
• Add notes to attractions for offline reference during your travels
• Download offline maps before traveling abroad and activate the offline mode in the app to save on data costs
• Tap on the GPS locator icon on the map to explore nearby recommended attractions and dining spots with distance indications
• Click on the navigation button of an attraction to open Google Maps for directions, also supports MAPS.ME
• Sort attractions based on popular recommendations or distance proximity

• Question: In Japan, does sponsorship unlock offline maps permanently or is it a yearly subscription?

• Answer: Offline maps for some countries require sponsorship for download. A single sponsorship unlocks downloads for all countries with no monthly or yearly fees and no time restrictions. Your sponsorship helps us continue offering free offline maps for most countries. Thank you for your support!

• Question: Can I add new attractions that are not listed in the attraction list?

• Answer: Click on any attraction icon on the map to view details or save it. Typing the complete name in the search box can reveal more attractions and food options. Saved items will appear on the map. If you can't find it at all, use Backpacker's Inn's attraction map web version to create your own location and then save it for viewing in the app.

• Question: Can I enlarge the map? What if the attractions I want to see are being obstructed by others?

• Answer: Tap on a blank spot on the map to access full-screen mode.

• Question: Does data sync between the app and web version?

• Answer: By logging in with the same Backpacker's Inn account, you can save attractions and add notes on the web version, and the data will automatically sync to the app for your travel planning reference.

• Question: Is it possible to store data on an SD card?

• Answer: Currently not supported. The app itself occupies approximately 100MB of space; however, offline map data is substantial. We recommend downloading it when traveling abroad.

• Question: How can I report and correct inaccurate data?

• Answer: Please utilize the "Report Issue" feature in the menu. Alternatively, you can also directly email us at [email protected].

• Known Issues:

• • - On initial opening of offline maps, there might be a period where no streets or attractions are visible; please wait patiently.
  • - Periodically when using offline maps, there may be a delay in synchronizing moved maps with updated attractions. Slowing down your map scrolling speed can improve this issue.
  • - When using in China, discussion data for attractions may be inaccessible due to blocking and locations may be slightly offset.
  • - If saved attractions or travel notes do not update correctly, try logging out of your account and logging back in.

• Permission Explanation:

• • - Location: Allows access to GPS location to find nearby attractions, determine distances between you and various attractions, or utilize navigation features. High accuracy location mode is recommended. The app only locates when actively used without unnecessary battery consumption. You can change location settings or disable location services in the app's settings menu.
  • - Network: Sign in requires internet connectivity to save locations, add notes to locations, and download offline maps. The app has an offline mode where downloaded data remains accessible for viewing saved locations and travel notes while offering substantial data savings with offline maps during overseas trips. Note that minimal network usage could occur even when using app offline; if you wish to fully disable internet use, consider turning off mobile data on your device.
