It is important to note that Jiasutong is not an official product of Garmin; rather, it was independently developed by dedicated Garmin users seeking to address certain pain points encountered during their use of Garmin devices and software.

At its core, Jiasutong aims to resolve data synchronization challenges across various fitness applications, enabling seamless, one-click data transfer. Currently, the platform supports data interoperability among up to 18 different sports apps and account integrations, including Garmin (both China and international versions), Gochi, Strava, Zwift, Wahoo, Intervals.icu, iGPSport, Blackbird Cycling, Xingzhe, Majiangwanlu, Ride with GPS, CyclingAnalytics, Keep, Codoon, Yuepaoquan, Tulip, Huami, and Huawei Health data backups. Jiasutong is committed to creating a comprehensive sports app ecosystem by connecting data sources from sports watches, cycling head units, and indoor trainers with popular social fitness platforms, professional training analysis websites, and even cutting-edge AI coaching tools. With the advent of the AI era, Jiasutong has undergone significant upgrades. It now incorporates large AI models such as DeepSeek, Doubao, and Tongyi Qianwen. Added functionalities include health injury management, goal setting for athletic performance, personalized training plans based on user preferences, and tailored nutrition and recovery strategies. The AI coach feature stands out: after each workout session, it provides detailed analysis and evaluation based on training data and offers targeted suggestions for improvement—adding notable value to the user experience.

Furthermore, Jiasutong can import exercise records stored in FIT files shared or exported from other cycling head units or apps into Garmin devices. It also facilitates exporting Garmin activity data—including routes—in formats like FIT, GPX, or TCX for easy sharing with friends. Distributing cycling routes has never been this straightforward.

The application also offers a variety of practical fitness tools. These include support for low-energy Bluetooth devices such as heart rate monitors and power meters—allowing batch verification and display of device battery levels. Additional features include trajectory merging for activity data consolidation. A novel addition is the brain training section, featuring logic-based mini-games designed to stimulate cognitive function and help prevent mental decline.
