Yamareco is a map application that can be used as a GPS for hiking and outdoor activities. It is the only app that supports all the necessary activities for hiking, from planning the hike to submitting a climbing report, checking the map during the hike, and creating records after the hike. Before Hiking: Easily create a plan for your upcoming hike, submit a climbing report to each prefecture via the "Compass" system of the Japan Mountain Guides Association in advance. You can download the map and route information of the submitted climbing report before the hike.

During Hiking: Since you have downloaded the map beforehand, you can check your current location with GPS even in areas where cell phone signals are not available during the hike. Additionally, by inputting your planned route, you can see the estimated arrival time at the mountaintop or trailhead based on your current walking pace. You can also easily save photos and videos during the hike.

Moreover, by linking with the "ImaCoco" app and website, you can securely and in real-time share your current location with your family and friends while using the Yamareco app during your hike.

After Hiking: After completing your hike, you can send a descent notification through the app to the "Compass" system and inform your family that the hike was completed safely. By saving photos and GPS logs as "Mountain Activity Records" on the Yamareco website, you can easily share information online and use it as a backup if your phone malfunctions.
