Dar Al Ber Association is one of the pioneering charitable organizations in the United Arab Emirates. It was founded in Dubai in 1399 Hijri, 1979 AD, by virtue of ministerial decree No. (23/78) issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs as a charitable, cultural, and social association. The formation of the Association's Board of Directors was based on the directives and decisions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai - may Allah protect him.

Dar Al Bar Society carries out a variety of charitable, development, and humanitarian projects across a wide range of countries beyond the UAE, including South East Asia, Arab countries, Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, Asia, and Europe. The organization has established 56 entities in 39 countries and collaborates with 13 UAE embassies.

The association implements and supervises numerous charitable projects in various Arab and Islamic nations. It has significantly contributed to the dissemination of the values of tolerant Islam and fostering a sense of social solidarity among Muslims despite geographical distances. Projects include mosque construction and oversight, well drilling, allocation of charitable endowments for buildings and land, support for productive families, orphanage construction, school and college establishment for Muslim education, Islamic library foundation, facilitation of Hajj and Umrah for financially challenged Muslims, distribution of sacrificial meat to impoverished Muslims, and implementation of Ramadan Fasting Project.
