Programming games, creating from scratch: for children and teenagers, as well as their parents and teachers! Part two. Designed for a wide range of readers and programming learners. Examples using Tkinter - building modern window interfaces.

Recommended age: 13 years and older after studying the first part of the material.

Writing games: learning programming in Python 3 through the writing of simple games that demonstrate programming capabilities.

This part focuses on learning data structures as a tool for processing information programmatically. Characters, strings, one-dimensional and two-dimensional lists, algorithms for processing them, encryption, recursion, data sorting. Bonus: quicksort algorithm and long arithmetic.

Why this textbook in particular? I have been teaching computer science for almost two decades and have encountered one annoying thing. Most materials intended to "teach programming" do not actually teach but are rather language reference guides: syntax, functions, results. Even if we learn the entire Russian-English dictionary, we won't speak English. Because speaking requires knowing a thousand nuances: tenses, declensions, using pronouns and prepositions, etc.

In this textbook, I not only talk about the Python 3 language but also guide the reader through reasoning, logical conclusions, answering not only the question "With what?" but also "For what?" and "Why?" All theory is immediately reflected in practice.

MATERIAL STRUCTURE:
- basic information about characters, strings, lists;
- algorithms built using recursion;
- long arithmetic;
- programmer's tricks and traps: you can't cheat fate, but you can lighten the load (and should);
- games: this part presents four games:

1. "Guess the Word" - a game where the user tries to guess a themed word by selecting one letter at a time in a limited number of attempts.
2. "Fifteen Puzzle" - a puzzle from my Soviet childhood where there is only one free square on a 4x4 grid. You need to cleverly move numbered tiles from 1 to 15 to reach a specific sequence. By the way, this puzzle has quite a few years under its belt.
3. "Space Invaders" (c) (tm), etc. The famous game with alien invaders; we will have a light version implemented using Tkinter. You can create something more impressive on your own. One publication ranked Space Invaders first among space shooters.
4. "Sokoban" - warehouse keeper simulator. We will look at the principles of building labyrinth games in a 2D perspective (top-down view).

The presented algorithms aim to foster:
- understanding how processors work;
- practical ability to create and write algorithms in a language;
- ability to process data using Python tools;
- ability to use modern high-level language features;
- ... and promote creative leisure activities.
