The CuCalc program will help you select cable or wire cross-sections based on the specified power, taking into account the voltage level, conductor type, and installation method.

• The program includes calculations for single/three-phase AC and DC power.
• It calculates current based on power.
• You can choose electric wire cross-sections (wires, cables) based on heating.
• Individual selection of cable cross-section with paper-impregnated insulation is available.
• It allows checking (selecting) wires and cables based on voltage loss.
• Determines the active and inductive resistance of the conductor.

The program is intended solely for the initial assessment of the necessary cable and wire cross-section values. (Although for low voltage, these calculations are often sufficient, remember the thermal and electrodynamic resistance to short circuits, overload protection, economic current density, etc.)

The program is provided as-is. Usage assumes that the user possesses sufficient theoretical knowledge to select cable based on heating and voltage loss.

The program aims to assist in determining cable or wire cross-sections outside the office (on-site, in field conditions, retail points, etc., not equipped with PCs with specialized programs), using a mobile device.
