The SDA Bible Commentary is a collaborative work by multiple scholars from the Seventh-day Adventist Church, designed as a comprehensive resource for both academic study and the spiritual enrichment of laypersons. This series provides valuable biblical context and interpretation materials.

Originally published in English between 1953 and 1957, the commentary underwent revisions in 1980. The Chinese translation began in 1999 and concluded in 2009.

This is the first systematic Bible commentary produced by the Seventh-day Adventist Church that is based on the original biblical texts. It uniquely integrates archaeological research with historical context, making it a practical reference for serious study.

In 2014, the SDA Bible Commentary software was launched, encompassing seven volumes of commentary from Genesis to Revelation, along with an array of resources including glossaries, maps, data, and overviews of the entire Bible.

By 2017, a newly designed SDA Bible Commentary+ software was introduced, boasting enhanced speed through a professional artistic design aligned with state-of-the-art iOS systems. This version included numerous new features that further refined the presentation of the commentary's content.

The software also expanded resource sharing; in addition to the commentary, it provides a variety of regularly updated text and video materials, allowing users convenient access to the latest spiritual insights.

In 2020, to enhance accessibility for iOS users, a simplified version of the SDA Bible Commentary+ was released. The features include:
