We present to you the Holy Bible App with the latest translation of the Holy Scripture accompanied by commentary developed by the Team of Polish Biblical Scholars under the initiative of the Society of Saint Paul.

The Holy Scripture App - the first application with commentary and the latest translation in the third millennium.

Idea and features of the latest translation of the Holy Scripture:

• Maximum fidelity to the original text, taking into account the principles of contemporary literary Polish language in translation.
• Care to convey the original biblical text's meaning in Polish as accurately as possible.
• Inclusion in translation and commentaries contemporary research on the Holy Scriptures.
• Avoidance of specialist theological language in footnotes and comments.
• Inclusion of concise introductions before each book, as well as before collections of books (e.g., Gospels), allowing readers to grasp the context of the book's origin or collection, as well as the essence of its contents.
• Modern and clear graphic layout facilitating easier use of the Holy Scripture, i.e.:
  • Footnotes with necessary information to understand the biblical text,
  • Comments on individual sections into which the biblical text is divided, presenting main ideas and messages contained within them,
  • A search function by abbreviated book names along with ranges of biblical text, located at the top of the application, aiding in finding specific passages in the Holy Scripture,
  • A glossary explaining 189 biblical terms.
• The application also includes Today's Liturgy of the Word and Prayer with the Word of God.
• Possibility to add bookmarks and personal notes.

By using our application, you can read the Holy Scripture anytime and anywhere - for example, you can start on your computer and continue on your smartphone or tablet.

Access to the full text of the Holy Scripture is obtained by creating an account and logging into the application.

Access to commentaries is granted after entering a code. The code is available in selected publications by Saint Paul Publications and on www.kupkod.pismoswiete.pl website.

Except for Today's Liturgy of the Word, these features do not require an internet connection but it is necessary if you wish to use multiple devices and save your notes on the server.
