Lohankha台語輸入法 1.5

Lohankha, formerly known as Lohanka since version 1.4, is a Taiwanese input method that supports Romanization (LOmaji), Chinese characters (HANji), Korean Hangul (한글, HANgul), and Japanese Kana (かな, KHA-nah) input methods, suitable for various Taiwanese writing styles like Full Romanization, Chinese Romanization, and full Chinese text.

To enable it:

1. Go to [Settings] -> [General] -> [Keyboard] -> [Keyboards] -> [Add New Keyboard...], then select Lohankha under third-party keyboards.

How to use:

1. Switch to the Taiwanese keyboard by tapping the globe key when you want to type.
2. Similar to English typing, Lohankha will display selectable Chinese characters. Enabling the "Additional Language Input" function allows you to choose between Japanese Kana or Korean Hangul. See detailed settings for more information.
3. You can input using Taiwanese Romanization (TL) or Pe̍h-ōe-jī (POJ).
4. You can use tone marks on vowels, or long-press vowels for tone marks; Lohankha will display phonetic corrections, preventing incorrect tone mark placement.
5. Phonetic corrections can be chosen in Taiwanese Romanization or Pe̍h-ōe-jī, see settings for details.
6. You can input without tones for word selection.
7. You can select words based on phonetic combinations; for example, typing "taiuanue" could result in "台灣話."
8. You can use shorthand typing (only typing sound symbols or initial vowels), such as "tuu" for "台灣話" or "lhkh" for "羅漢跤."
9. To select a word, click to output Chinese Romanized words; swipe up to output Full Romanized words; swipe down to output Chinese Romanized + Full Romanized words.

1. In Romanization priority mode, click to output Full Romanized words; swipe up to output Chinese Romanized words; swipe down to output Full Romanized + Chinese Romanized words. See settings for details.
2. Shortcut key 'z' types traditional Chinese punctuation marks, while 'x' types western punctuation marks.

• Hovering over any place in the text allows you to check the pronunciation of the current Chinese character.
• If you are unsure about a character, switch temporarily to another input method and switch back to Lohankha for pronunciation assistance.
• After selecting a word, a prompt will appear with pronunciations of the same word in Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. You can replace the characters with Japanese or Korean fonts here.
