Why is the Catholic religion the true one?

Because it is the only religion founded by God Himself. It's as simple as that. All other religions, monotheistic and polytheistic, Christian and non-Christian, before and after Christ, have been established by men, not by God.

Catholicism (from Greek καθολικός, katholikós, 'universal, all-encompassing') is a term that refers to the main current branch of Christianity, emerging after the Eastern Schism in 1054. Catholics are faithful to the Catholic Church, as well as its theology, doctrine, liturgy, ethical principles, and derived norms of behavior. They also identify with the collective body of its followers, who are called "Catholics".

The Catholic Church considers that it is the only Church that Christ founded and entrusted to the Apostle Peter to tend, entrusting him and the other apostles with its spread and governance.

The Greek term katholikós, which arrived in Late Latin as catholĭcus and later in Spanish as "católico", can be translated as "universal". This adjective, which refers to something that is common or encompasses everyone, was used by the Church of Rome to refer to itself.

It is important to bear in mind that there are dogmas shared by Catholics and other Christians. Among the main Catholic dogmas, which are based on the Bible, are the Holy Trinity (one God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the Immaculate Conception (Mary, the mother of Christ, was conceived without sin), the Divine Motherhood (Mary's pregnancy was the work of the Holy Spirit, and she remained ever-virgin), and the Eucharist (bread and wine that transform into the body and blood of the Son of God).
