What is Daejeon Ero-um?

It is a Daejeon regional currency issued to activate the local economy of Daejeon and strengthen the community. It is a rechargeable prepaid card type of local currency that can be used within Daejeon. Additionally, as a means of providing welfare benefits to residents of Daejeon, cashback is offered for payments to promote local economic activity, and discounts are provided when making payments at local small businesses in Daejeon.

Convenient Daejeon-gu regional currency in card form, application and usage of Daejeon Ero-um card:

• You can apply for the card directly from the app without the need for complex account opening or visits to the bank.
• The issued card can be recharged anytime, anywhere through the mobile app.
• Easily make payments with the card at all participating stores in Daejeon.
• You can conveniently check your card usage history in the app.

* Usage may be restricted at department stores, supermarkets, and certain excluded industries to enhance the competitiveness of small businesses.

Cashback Benefits:

• Get 15% cashback on the payment amount. (Cashback provided up to a maximum monthly payment of 1 million KRW, until budget exhaustion).
• Example: Cashback of 150,000 KRW for a 1 million KRW payment.

Policy-Issuing Card Usage:

If you are a recipient of welfare policies in Daejeon-gu, policy funds provided by Daejeon-gu will be disbursed through the Daejeon Ero-um card.

30% Income Deduction like a Debit Card:

Upon membership registration, agreeing to year-end settlement terms or opting for automatic income deduction through a popup or under 'All Menus > Apply for Income Deduction' will apply income deduction benefits concurrently with card registration. (If you already have a registered card, income deduction benefits will be applied uniformly from the time of card registration on payment records.)
