Reducing or ceasing alcohol consumption is essential for protecting oneself and others. Oz Ensemble is a mobile application developed by the Ministry of Health designed to support individuals in their journey toward reducing or stopping their alcohol intake.

Even low levels of alcohol consumption can have significant consequences for health and well-being, regardless of whether one develops a dependency. Currently, over 5 million individuals in France are affected by alcohol addiction, making it the second leading cause of preventable mortality after tobacco.

With the Oz Ensemble app, users can learn to moderate their alcohol consumption independently. The application also serves as a resource for those seeking to detoxify from alcohol use.

• Self-Assessment of Consumption Habits: The app enables users to assess their situation and level of risk through reliable, personalized tests and assessments available for free.
• Goal Setting and Progress Tracking: Users can establish goals and monitor their reduction in alcohol consumption through a consumption diary. Over time, users can also view their financial savings and calories avoided.
• Engaging Activities: The application offers self-directed exercises aimed at boosting motivation to change habits and assist in reducing or stopping alcohol use.
• Relevant Advice: The app provides actionable steps, tips, and scientifically validated information curated by professionals from the Oz Ensemble team to help users navigate challenging situations and achieve their goals regarding alcohol consumption.
• Free Consultation with Professionals: For those in need of additional assistance, the app allows for free and anonymous consultations with health professionals via video. Users can schedule remote appointments with addiction specialists, including doctors, psychologists, or social workers from the Oz Ensemble team.

Oz Ensemble is an essential tool for those wishing to gradually reduce or completely stop alcohol consumption, ultimately leading to a more balanced life. Reducing or eliminating alcohol intake can yield numerous benefits for physical and mental health, including increased energy levels, improved sleep quality, enhanced digestion, better skin condition, stronger relationships, and a more fulfilling personal life.

This free, anonymous application does not require account creation and is a public service developed by ARS Île-de-France in collaboration with the CaPASSCite association. It has been co-constructed with input from both users and healthcare professionals. The project is incubated within the Digital Factory linked to the Social Ministries.
