CueMeasure is an application developed in collaboration with some of the world’s leading coaches, designed to assist players in refining their technique. The system tracks the movements of your cue and accurately detects when a shot is made. Each shot is then analyzed in detail through various heuristic algorithms, providing valuable insights into your technique.

The app assigns scores to different aspects of your shot, such as wrist rotation, maintaining parallel alignment with the table, and side movement. It also logs all shots within a training session to generate an overall session score, offering a comprehensive view of your progress. Additionally, CueMeasure can automatically notify you if it detects undesirable cue actions.

For more advanced analysis, CueMeasure displays real-time graphs illustrating cue movement—such as whether you lift your elbow just before executing a shot—which can be crucial for technical improvements.

While CueMeasure functions effectively as a standalone tool, it also supports a networked coaching mode. In this mode, cue action data is transmitted in real-time to another iPhone or iPad (typically an iPad), enabling coaches or friends to monitor your performance live.
