This application is designed for transmitting alert notifications to a centralized monitoring station (CMS).
Key features include:
- Transmission of user-generated alarm notifications to the CMS.
- Notification to the user upon successful transmission of an alarm signal.
- Bidirectional communication with the CMS.
- Monitoring of the CMS communication channel, including redundancy measures.
- Automatic monitoring of the mobile device's battery level, with alerts provided when the battery is low or restored.
- Sending current location data upon request from the CMS, pending user approval.
- Notification to the user in case of connectivity issues with the CMS.
The application utilizes the "Accessibility Services" feature. Through this service, it processes physical volume button presses to generate and send an "Alarm" signal to the CMS. Press events on physical buttons are not stored or transmitted outside of the device.
