Story
Rintato Okabe, known as "Okarin," is a university student wrestling with the "second-grade syndrome." He adopts the persona of a self-proclaimed mad scientist named "Kyoma Hououin" and establishes the "Future Gadget Laboratory," where he collaborates with two others on eccentric inventions. Their accidental creation of a "time machine" capable of sending text messages to the past sets off a series of events involving SERN, John Titor, the ancient computer "IBN5100," time travel conundrums, and an impending global-scale event stemming from Akihabara. With the future at stake, which path will Okarin choose?
