The offline recitation of the French rosary offers a meaningful way to engage in prayer anywhere—whether in traffic, on public transport, or at home. This practice includes devotion to Jesus, the Loreto prayers, and the Divine Mercy chaplet.

The structure of the rosary is organized into sets of ten Hail Marys, known as decades. Each decade is prefaced by a Lord's Prayer and concluded with a Glory Be. During each set, one of the mysteries of the Rosary is contemplated, reflecting significant events in the lives of Jesus and Mary. A complete rosary consists of five decades, with additional prayers sometimes included before or after each decade. The beads serve as a guide to maintain the correct sequence of these prayers.

The rosary begins on the short strand:

 <li>The Glory Be on the next large bead.</li>

The recitation of the decades then follows, repeating this cycle for each mystery:
<ol>
 <li>Announce the mystery.</li>
 <li>Recite the Lord's Prayer on the large bead;</li>
 <li>Say the Hail Mary on each of the ten adjacent small beads;</li>
 <li>Conclude with a Glory Be before proceeding to the next large bead.</li>
</ol>

The conclusion includes:
<ul>
 <li>The Salve Regina;</li>
 <li>The Litanies of Loreto;</li>
 <li>Any other intentions; and</li>
 <li>The Sign of the Cross.</li>
</ul>

The Mysteries of the Rosary involve meditations on episodes from Jesus' life and death, ranging from the Annunciation to the Ascension and beyond. These are categorized as Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous Mysteries. Each group contemplates five distinct stages in Christ's life.

The rosary is considered a powerful armor against hell, helping to vanquish vice and diminish sin while nurturing virtue and good works. It facilitates an outpouring of God's mercy onto souls and encourages a shift away from worldly attachments towards eternal aspirations.
