The "Dež" application provides an insightful view of precipitation data through the radar images from the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia (ARSO). This application overlays radar visuals onto a map of Slovenia, enabling users to access real-time images as well as historical data and animations of precipitation up to six hours old. It is compatible with both landscape and portrait orientations, catering to user preferences for mobile device usage. Note that an internet connection is required for access.

• Support for both portrait and landscape modes.
• A new, smoother experience when moving and zooming the map.
• A fix for display issues on the iPhone, where a black map might occasionally appear during precipitation events.
• Customizable temperature displays.
• For iPad: The ability to remember the last viewed screen (precipitation or data).
• Visual representations of temperature and forecasts.
• An option in settings for automatic animation commencement.
• For iPad: Display options for buttons or drop-down menus while navigating between screens.
• For iPad: Capability to show a five-day forecast alongside radar imagery of precipitation.

The application includes detailed forecasts such as:

• Radar images indicating precipitation.
• Current temperatures from observation and automatic stations.
• A graphical five-day forecast.
• A written forecast specific to Slovenia.
• Aviation forecasts.
• Coastal weather predictions for Slovenia.
• Mountain weather forecasts.
• Sunrise and sunset times, as well as moonrise and moonset information.
• Lunar phases and the current size of the moon.
• Aladin forecasts, available exclusively for iPad users, covering various altitudes (FL 025, FL 050, FL 100, FL 140, FL 180) along with wind, temperature, humidity at approximately 1500 meters above sea level, ground-level wind, temperature, cloud cover, and precipitation data.
