Overview of the A.DOT Phone App

Connecting to the A.DOT Phone application allows users to access various AI functionalities such as call summaries, business contacts, and interpretation services.

• Call Recording and Summaries
  Users can ensure they never miss important or past calls by utilizing the automatic call recording feature. With the AI upgrade, recorded calls are transcribed into text, which includes summaries and suggested follow-up tasks after the call. *The call recording feature is optimized for smartphones released through SK Telecom.
• Business Contacts (formerly T114)
  The A.DOT Phone provides access to all business phone numbers in South Korea. Users benefit from real-time, crowd-sourced business search information, allowing them to store only personal contacts on their phones. The upgraded system informs users about visitor trends and optimal call times for businesses.
• Safe Call and AI Spam Blocker
  Discover who’s calling before answering, thus preventing spam and phishing attempts. The app incorporates a community-driven spam reporting system for real-time updates on potential threats. Moreover, AI capabilities automatically detect and block the most recent unidentified phishing/spam numbers.
• AI Recommendations
  The app enhances communication by providing contextual information about incoming calls, including origin details and conversation topics, tailored to improve user interaction.
• Interpretation Call (Exclusive to SK Telecom customers)
  This feature offers real-time language translation during a call. Participants' statements are translated and displayed in the corresponding language. Availability is limited to domestic use.
• A.DOT Tab (formerly Today Tab)
  Enhanced focus on important conversations is possible with context-based assistance from AI, which recommends relevant discussion topics. Summaries of recent calls and task reminders are conveniently compiled in card format after conversations.
• Baro (Roaming) - Exclusive to SK Telecom customers
  Users can make calls abroad without concerns about charges through Baro. Unlimited free domestic calling is available when subscribed to Wi-Fi or a roaming plan.
• Themes
  Escape the monotony of standard calling interfaces with numerous thematic options. Users can creatively design their custom themes using the theme creation tool.
• Home-Fi Call (Exclusive to SK Telecom customers)
  This service improves call quality in areas with weak reception.

* The A.DOT Phone app is specifically designed for users of domestic telecom providers.

* Certain features like interpretation calls and Baro require user authentication over mobile data.

* Supported on Android OS 10 or higher, iOS 16 or higher only. Unsupported OS versions cannot reinstall the T Phone app once deleted.

Required Permissions for A.DOT Phone Usage

1. Mandatory Access Permissions
   • Phone: Subscriber verification and call initiation.
   • Contacts: Accessing and modifying stored contact information.
   • Call History: Viewing and modifying call history information.
2. Optional Access Permissions (OS 13 and above)
   • SMS: Viewing message history.
   • Location: Business contact location search, recommending A.DOT content, and configuring Home-Fi Call.
   • Audio: For call recording and summaries.
   • Microphone: For call recording (excludes native devices), video calling, Baro (roaming), and Home-Fi Call.
   • Camera: For video calling and image registration.
   • Nearby Devices: Connecting Bluetooth devices during calls.
   • Notifications: Providing alerts related to A.DOT Phone functions (mandatory when set as default phone).
3. Optional Access Permissions (Below OS 13)
   • SMS: Viewing message history.
   • Location: Business contact location search, recommending A.DOT content, and configuring Home-Fi Call.
   • Storage: For recording calls, summarizing conversations, image registration, and video calling.
   • Microphone: For call recording (excludes native devices), video calling, Baro (roaming), and Home-Fi Call.
   • Camera: For video calling and image registration.
   • Nearby Devices: Connecting Bluetooth devices during calls.

* While agreeing to optional permissions is not required for service use, certain features may be limited without them.
