1. What is Community Bible Reading (PRS)?

Community Bible Reading refers to 'gathering as a community' to 'listen to and read' the 'Bible,' which is God's word. Community Bible Reading is a 'spiritual practice of faith' that people regularly engage in together in their daily lives.

From the time of Moses to Jesus, people integrated the Bible into their everyday lives. By listening to the Bible, we can momentarily pause, calm our troubled minds, and humbly hear God's voice.

1. How do I engage in Community Bible Reading (PRS)?

Now you can easily participate in a Bible reading gathering through the Community Bible Reading (PRS) app.

Gathering Preparation:

• Gather at least 3 members to determine the meeting place, time, and frequency.
• Prepare the Bible to read together and the "Community Bible Reading (PRS)" app.
• Choose a desired reading plan (20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes).
• Select a facilitator for the gathering. It is beneficial if everyone takes turns leading.

Gathering Process:

1. The facilitator briefly introduces the passage or plays a video from the "Bible Project" within the app.
2. Use the app to select the reading plan.
3. Listen to a Psalm as an opening prayer, then listen to the Bible according to the reading plan.
4. After reading the passage, take a minute for personal reflection.
5. Listen to another Psalm as a closing prayer.
6. Discuss reflections on what was read.
