What is Xunji?

You are not mistaken, this is a rather "hardcore" fitness app. By hardcore, we mean it's not suitable for the majority of people, specifically those who do not have a desire to track their training plans or those who have not been consistent in their weightlifting journey.

Therefore, unfortunately, this app was not made to cater to the majority's needs, so I won't consider it.

Recording notes during workouts, accurately tracking weight and repetitions for each set, is extremely important among fitness enthusiasts. I won't go into detail here, but I will discuss it further in my premium content.

The purpose of this software is to better track and analyze your training content.

Why did I create this app?

The quality of weightlifting training directly correlates with factors such as weight and repetitions. Thus, tools that facilitate tracking training quality came into existence.

In ancient times, people used pen and paper. Since Microsoft released Excel, people started using it for record-keeping and analysis. However, there are still significant pain points:

<ul>
<li>Even today, many people still rely on pen and paper to record data in the gym. This includes most trainers who use pen and paper to help members with data recording and analysis.</li>
<li>The biggest advantage of pen and paper is its flexibility.</li>
<li>But currently, this advantage is very minor as its biggest pain point is the risk of losing or scatter of data.</li>
</ul>

In this aspect, Excel does a great job. However, it's ultimately just a software designed for recording all types of data. Although it can be used for recording fitness data, it is not dedicated to fitness tracking.

Therefore, I developed this app hoping to provide a simple software without any strange features to freely record my training content.

How is Xunji different from other fitness apps? Should I use it?

Other fitness apps are excellent software with rich courses, videos, and articles that are highly recognized within the industry. Moreover, they have played a significant role in getting many people who have never thought of working out before into the fitness world. I think this is a fantastic and commendable achievement.

Although other fitness apps are simple to use, they are not able to fully meet the needs of fitness enthusiasts like us. For example, the lack of customization options for training plans and inputs makes them less flexible. The biggest difference between Xunji and other fitness apps is that it provides enough freedom. Therefore, Xunji was created.

This app is actually suitable for a relatively narrow user group. I have summarized a few points for you to analyze if you fall into this group:

<ol>
<li>You understand what fitness is and that fitness and weight loss are not necessarily related.</li>
<li>You understand that keeping track of your workouts is crucial, and analyzing the data after recording is equally important.</li>
<li>You want to see someone else's workout plan, specifically details such as the number of sets, weight used for each exercise, how many times they train each week, and when they train each week (this feature is a must-have, although it's not available yet, haha).</li>
<li>Based on your recorded data, automatic analysis, assistance, and guidance through charts and other functions.</li>
</ol>

HealthKit

<ul>
<li>When using Apple Watch during training, your heart rate, calories burned, and training distance will be synchronized with your HealthKit data, allowing you to view it on the Apple Health app.</li>
<li>In Xunji, under My - Body Data, you can enable "Sync Health Data" to sync your body weight.</li>
</ul>

Important note regarding your privacy and HealthKit data:

As your health privacy is crucial, we will ask for your authorization to read and write data related to heart rate, daily calorie expenditure, and training distance when you first start using the Xunji app. By agreeing to this, you allow Xunji to better record your training progress.
