"The End of Civilization" focuses on interpreting history and is another independent work by Yocone Technology following "Grandeur of China". The game operates maps including the continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. From east to west, it features eight civilizations: Japan, China, Nomads, India, Islam (Persia), Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and Indigenous. Spanning from 333 BC to 1888 AD, there are 12 scenarios for players to choose from. These include Alexander's Eastern Campaign, the War Deity Hannibal, Roman Republic and Western Han, Roman Empire and Eastern Han, Golden Age of Tang Dynasty, Charlemagne the Great, Genghis Khan, Ottoman Empire and Ming Dynasty, Age of Discovery, Napoleon Era, Victorian Era, and Age of Imperialism. Each civilization has unique buildings and units for each era. Ranging from ancient to modern times, the game features 230 unit models such as Roman gladiators, Macedonian phalanx, Imperial Guards, Ming Dynasty treasure ships, battleships, cruisers, etc. Players are required to construct city facilities, utilize resources to produce strategic goods, and form armies for warfare and conquest. It presents a fine balance between domestic affairs and strategic gameplay.
