I Love Learning Chinese is a mobile application featuring highly intelligent Chinese character flashcards. This application utilizes smart algorithms and memory patterns to help overseas-born Chinese children efficiently and effectively remember commonly used Chinese characters. By doing so, it lays a solid foundation for effective Chinese reading skills, enabling children to truly comprehend and appreciate the thousands of years of Chinese culture as they grow up.

Overseas-born Chinese children often lack sufficient language context and motivation for learning. Despite parents' considerable efforts to teach their children Chinese, most only achieve speaking proficiency without the ability to read and write. The main issue lies in the inability to memorize characters permanently. Despite efforts to memorize and write characters, forgetting occurs after a period of non-revision or non-usage, rendering previous efforts futile. Conventional paper Chinese character cards are prone to getting lost, are challenging to organize, and make it difficult for parents or teachers to track each character's learning progress. Children's Chinese character learning is entirely in an open loop state where they can remember only a few characters at a time. Eventually, both the children and their parents give up.

This application aims to transform the process of learning Chinese characters from an open loop system to a closed loop one. It automatically tracks the learning progress of each character, utilizing smart algorithms, memory patterns, and tailoring the revision intervals for each character at different stages based on the child's memory capacity. Users can review character recognition and writing within the app. The focus is not on learning numerous new characters daily but on ensuring that after a complete memory cycle, each character remains permanently memorized, avoiding further forgetfulness. Users can easily monitor how many characters their child has learned so far and at which memory stage each character stands.

This application syncs with the vocabulary lists of major elementary school Chinese textbooks, including People's Education Press elementary school Chinese textbooks, Ma Liping Chinese textbooks, Shuangshuang Chinese textbooks, and Jinan University Chinese textbooks.

Additionally, the application contains a wealth of supplementary reading materials such as children's songs, stories, poems, fables, etc., aiming to help children develop independent reading skills quickly. The children's songs in the reading materials can be played aloud. After reciting the lyrics, children can joyfully listen to the songs further enhancing their interest and motivation in learning Chinese.
