“Baby Learning Chinese Classics Enlightenment” provides a wide range of educational courses, including the classics such as San Zi Jing, Di Zi Gui, The Analects, Thousand Character Classic, Tang Poetry, Extended Wise Words, and Elementary Odes. These courses are suitable for early childhood education and enlightenment.
San Zi Jing, along with Bai Jia Xing and Qian Zi Wen, are known as the three major classical enlightenment readings in Chinese culture. San Zi Jing is a precious cultural heritage of the Chinese nation that is concise, easy to memorize, and widely known for centuries. It covers historical events, astronomy, geography, ethics, and some folklore, as the saying goes, “To know a thousand ancient matters, read San Zi Jing thoroughly.”
Di Zi Gui, originally named Xun Meng Wen, adopts the meaning from the sixth passage of "Xue Er" in The Analects: "A student should be filial at home and respectful to his elders outside; he should be cautious and trustworthy; love all people and be close to kind-heartedness. If he has spare time after his daily tasks, he should learn literature." It is composed in sets of three characters per line or two lines per rhyme. Di Zi Gui consists of 360 lines with 1080 characters.
Tang and Song poetry has always been the most brilliant gem in ancient Chinese literature, enabling children to be influenced by Chinese culture from an early age and broaden their knowledge. Here in these texts of San Zi Jing, Di Zi Gui, Tang poetry, and Song lyrics, most have a musical quality with a lively rhythm.
