You can customize the information that appears immediately upon startup, making daily weather checks effortless.

Introducing the "Nearby Convenient Weather" app, utilizing the big screen of your smartphone to provide a split-screen display for convenient access to various weather information around your current location. The app is compatible with Android OS version 4.1 and above.

"Nearby Convenient Weather" offers Japan Meteorological Agency disaster prevention information, weather forecasts, weekly weather forecasts, rain forecasts, snow conditions, radar nowcasts, satellite images, AMeDAS (temperature, wind speed/direction, precipitation, sunshine duration, snow depth, humidity), meteorological warnings, typhoon information, and lightning information from various power companies' websites. It aims to make it easy and convenient to check weather-related information without navigating between screens.

Prior to heading out, easily check radar images of rainfall, rain clouds, and lightning in your vicinity. Get a quick overview of tomorrow's weather and the weekly forecast. Make use of these features in your daily life. Please note that power company rain information is limited to the Kanto region only, and lightning information is available for specific regions.

For devices running Android versions lower than 4.4 (KitKat), some information may be restricted. The app is structured to provide vital information quickly and efficiently, especially during sudden heavy rains or thunderstorms in the summer months.

Customize your startup display by selecting from bottom buttons and menu options based on your preference for quick access to desired weather information. The app focuses on efficient data presentation for user convenience while allowing customization for a personalized experience.

To begin using the app:

• Start by setting your default location: Prefecture → Municipality → District. You can modify these settings later if needed. After this initial setup, your default location will be displayed from the next launch onwards with the screen automatically set to 6-panel view.
