This application offers a practical tool for the study and reference of the classical Chinese medical texts "Shang Han Lun" and "Jin Kui Yao Lue," both fundamental and essential works in traditional Chinese medicine. Recognized for their complexity and the inconvenience associated with manual consultation, these texts are traditionally organized into individual entries—398 for "Shang Han Lun" and over 400 for "Jin Kui Yao Lue." Having immediate access to these entries via a mobile device significantly facilitates research and learning in these classical texts.

The app presents the original text of "Shang Han Lun" with its 398 entries, along with 113 formulas, in an organized table format. It also optionally includes content from "Jin Kui Yao Lue," allowing users to filter and search entries efficiently. Users can directly jump to specific entries by entering their numerical identifiers or utilize the search function with multiple keywords separated by spaces; wildcard searches are supported via "＃" or "." symbols, with highlighted keywords in search results to enhance readability. Each entry is interactive—clicking on it reveals options for note-taking, copying content, or viewing related formulas and prescriptions.

To refine searches, prefixing keywords with "-" excludes entries containing those terms. The application displays the texts derived from Zhao Kaimei's annotated edition of "Shang Han Lun," with certain annotations colored red for easy differentiation, based on the Kangping edition. The formulas and prescriptions are fully colored for clarity and convenience.

The app aims to transition entirely to the Song edition; currently, only the first 127 entries have been verified, with red notes prior to entry 127 based on Song Cen’s annotations and subsequent notes from the Kangping edition. Additionally, it incorporates content from "Zhong Jing" and "Bie Lu," covering all relevant herbs used in "Shang Han Lun" and "Jin Kui Yao Lue," with cross-references designed to support comprehensive learning and research.
