The Talking Alphabet for Children and Toddlers is an educational game designed for children and their parents. It was made with love, as it was created for my own daughter.

There are multiple modes available, including letters, sounds, vowels and consonants, voiced and unvoiced. The game features colorful pictures, a user-friendly interface, and professional audio narration by a Russian language teacher!

The alphabet is very important for children and toddlers, as it helps them quickly learn letters and sounds, which in turn helps them learn to read faster. In our game, there are two audio options: sounds and letters in Russian.

This alphabet game is suitable even for the youngest children. The optimal age for children to start learning the alphabet is between 4 and 6 years old, although some children may be ready to learn from the age of 3. Ideally, starting at 5 years old gives them a year before starting school.

It's best to begin teaching letters with vowels: A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo (Ё), Ye (Е), Yu (Ю), Ya (Я) (there are 10 of them), as they are easily pronounced and the child will find it easier to learn them. Initially, there are 6 vowel sounds: A, O, U, Y, I, E; and then there are 4 vowel letters that are formed by combining two sounds: Ё = Й + O; Е = Й + E; Ю = Й + U; Я = Й + A. Vowels can also be stressed or unstressed.

The next step is consonants: B, V, G, D, Zh (Ж), Z, Y (Й), K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, Kh (Х), Ts (Ц), Ch (Ч), Sh (Ш), Shch (Щ), as well as two auxiliary letters, Soft Sign (Ь) and Hard Sign (Ъ). In total, there are 33 letters in the Russian alphabet.
