Through Athar, we seek to present a new Arab youth model aimed at enriching Arabic digital content with high quality, ensuring alignment with the developments in our surroundings. We are committed to continually enhancing our offerings and actively encourage experts and practitioners from all regions to contribute more digital courses consistently and openly.

Athar was founded as an initiative by the Athar Group for Digital Empowerment for Development and the Social Development Forum in 2019, as part of efforts to improve the participation of civil society organizations in the digital transformation process and the development of Arab individuals.

Our mission is to equip youth and civil society activists with the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance their effective civic and economic participation while encouraging ongoing engagement in the learning process.

Our vision is for Athar to be the leading platform in the Arab world for skill and knowledge development, aligning with global standards and principles of digital inclusivity.
