• Receive passenger calls: After entering the information of the currently operating vehicle, you can receive calls from Kakao T Taxi passengers by selecting "Wait for Calls". Kakao T Taxi provides the ability to preview the passenger's location and destination upon call reception.
• Check driving history: You can check the number of completed rides and detailed information of rides completed by drivers within the past year on a daily/monthly/yearly basis. It is also possible to download image files for document verification.
• Evaluate passengers: After completing a ride, you can evaluate the passenger, but the evaluation results will not be shared with the passenger.
• Join as a Kakao T Taxi driver: You can apply to join as a Kakao T Taxi driver through the Kakao T Taxi driver app and your application will be approved once it is reviewed. (Required: Identification photo, taxi license photo)

* Users can grant the following permissions to ensure smooth operation of Kakao T Taxi. Each permission is divided into essential permissions that must be granted and optional permissions that can be granted based on their attributes.

1. Essential permissions:
   1. Location: Necessary permission to prioritize receiving calls from nearby passengers by identifying your current location.
   2. Background location access: Necessary permission to continue receiving services provided by Kakao T Taxi (such as dispatching nearby passengers, calculating distances, providing navigation) even while using other apps.
   3. Phone: Necessary permission to retrieve phone number information for verification by Kakao T Taxi.
2. Optional permissions:
   1. Ignore battery optimization: Necessary permission for smooth call reception on Kakao T Taxi.
   2. Display on top of other apps: Necessary permission to smoothly receive calls and complete calls while using other apps on Kakao T Taxi.
   3. Microphone: Necessary permission to enter fares through voice during automatic payment calls.
   4. Bluetooth: Necessary permission to receive meter data through a Bluetooth device connected to the meter.
   5. Storage: Necessary permission to read storage space for registering licenses and profiles, etc.

* Access permissions for the Kakao T Taxi driver app are divided into essential permissions and optional permissions, which are implemented to support Android OS versions 6.0 or higher. For devices using OS versions lower than 6.0, it may not be possible to selectively grant permissions, so we recommend checking if the manufacturer of your device provides an operating system upgrade feature and, if possible, updating the OS to version 6.0 or higher. Furthermore, even if the operating system is updated, the agreed-upon access permissions will not change in the existing app, so to reset access permissions, you must delete and reinstall the app.
