Historically, select newspapers would sell limited copies of these early editions within Seoul prior to the official release date.

Leveraging Chosun Ilbo's pioneering expertise in digital media — highlighted by its introduction of the world's first 'Smart Newspaper' — this service digitizes the print layout for easy accessibility on digital platforms. Users benefit from features that enhance their reading experience, including article clipping, a search function, keyword settings, and printing capabilities. Articles can be printed from smartphones to designated printers, or saved directly to mobile devices for later reference.

Readers can access the Early Edition daily at 7 PM; for instance, starting Sunday at 7 PM, users can view the Monday edition. This service provides an opportunity to engage with the agenda for the following day ahead of others.
