Regarding the Prayer for Salvation:

The Commission on Precedents of the Diocese reviewed and unified the 'Prayer for Redeeming Grace' of the Rosary Prayer submitted by the Council. For the translation of the prayer text, in order to avoid confusion, it was unified with an ancient prayer text ('Lord Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, take care of wandering souls in purgatory and the most abandoned souls.') but decided not to include it in "Catholic Prayer Books."
