“Suzhou Meteorology” is a mobile meteorological service client developed by the Suzhou Meteorological Bureau, delivering timely and comprehensive weather information.

Functions:

• Weather Forecasts and Alerts: Offers detailed 3-7 day weather forecasts down to the street and township level for all of Suzhou. Supports accurate broadcasting of meteorological alert signals across the region and allows users to customize their forecast preferences for over 2,000 municipalities nationwide.
• Current Weather Conditions: Displays real-time meteorological data (temperature, precipitation, wind speed, humidity, pressure) for the user's current location. Graphical representation and comparison of current conditions across Suzhou are also available, along with data from nearby provinces such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Anhui.
• Satellite Imagery: Provides animated cloud imagery from the FY2E geostationary satellite for East China covering the last six hours.
• Radar Imaging: Features animated weather radar images updated every six minutes.
• Lightning Detection: Presents animated lightning strike location maps for the entire Suzhou area over the last six hours.
• Typhoon Tracking: Displays key typhoon paths and developments in the Western Pacific region based on Google Maps.
• Helpful Tips: Offers services related to commuting weather and lifestyle indices closely tied to weather conditions in Suzhou.
• Microblogging Interaction: Integrates a Sina Weibo platform enabling users to view, comment on, and share posts from @Suzhou Meteorology, facilitating engagement with meteorological experts in Suzhou.
