Hua Companion - A Flower Identification App: Developed by the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences which provides the image database, and LuLang Software responsible for app development. Hua Companion can help identify over tens of thousands of wild and cultivated plants, covering almost all common flowers, herbs, and trees.

Features: 
1. Flower Identification: Simply take a photo or choose from your gallery for automatic identification. For unidentified plants, users can seek help from botany experts in the community. 
2. Plant Encyclopedia: Displays the classification tree showing the relationship between species and provides essential information such as plant toxicity and conservation status. Users can upload photos to contribute to the encyclopedia. 
3. Nearby: Utilizes big data on plant distribution from Hua Companion to recommend nearby flower-viewing spots and display popular plants and user-submitted species in the area. 
4. Flower Journal Articles: Users can create content to share plant knowledge and natural beauty through flower journals, short videos, and articles to engage in discussions. 
5. Discover: Offers sections like "Plant Business Card Creation," "Art Gallery," "Flower Identification Challenges," and app recommendations for more exciting content.

Hua Companion is a flower identification tool developed by LuLang Software (Beijing) Co., Ltd., utilizing artificial intelligence deep learning technology based on a massive classification image database from the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and user-contributed databases. With widespread usage, its identification capabilities continue to improve. The Hua Companion big data platform also provides support for biodiversity surveys, regional species distribution, landscaping projects, wild plant resource surveys, and conservation efforts.

Targeting agricultural/forestry workers, plant enthusiasts, students of all levels, and parents of students, Hua Companion allows users to recognize plants by simply taking photos whether in the streets, parks, or countryside. This fosters a better understanding of the surrounding flora, bringing joy while connecting with nature.

Hua Companion requests the following permissions: 
1. Camera Access: Allows you to use Hua Companion for flower identification, journal entries, and video recording. 
2. Photo Library Access: Permits saving plant photos to your library or using existing photos for identification. 
3. Location Access: Enables Hua Companion to display nearby plants and flower-viewing areas on the map. 
4. System Notification Permissions: Grants timely notifications from Hua Companion and interactive updates with fellow flower enthusiasts.
