The “Prologue Edition” of the 7.5th or 8.5th Story BD, titled “Wish Upon the Ema,” emerged from the innovative mind of sound creator Revo and his project Sound Horizon, gaining considerable attention following its Blu-ray release in January 2021. Now, fans can experience the unique narrative through the newly launched application.

The story unfolds in a world reminiscent of contemporary Japan, centered around a mysterious shrine known as "Ōkuran Shrine," rumored to grant extraordinary wishes. Various tales of individuals entrusting their desires to "ema" (votive plaques) at this shrine are intricately woven together. The path of these characters evolves based on the decisions made by the listener, who embodies the role of "Ōkami" (the deity) throughout the narrative, influencing outcomes through two pivotal “interpretation choices” that appear repeatedly.

In essence, as the newly appointed "Ōkami," your choices hold significant sway over the destinies of the characters, inviting multiple narratives based on your selections.

New Features Not Available on Blu-ray

The application version introduces an archive feature, “Memory of the Wolf Mask,” which allows users to track and revisit music pieces they have already experienced—an addition not seen in the Blu-ray version. Furthermore, there may be additional content exclusive to this application, encouraging users to explore within.
