In Martial Arts Mahjong, the card combinations and rankings are as follows:

2. Pair: Consists of two identical cards (martial arts cards are counted as a pair when they have the same point values). The ranking order is: Heavenly pair > Earthly pair > Human pair > Lord pair > Plum blossom pair > Bench pair > Ax pair > Redhead Ten pair > Tall Seven pair > Copper Hammer Six pair > Miscellaneous Nine > Miscellaneous Eight > Miscellaneous Seven > Miscellaneous Five
3. Special cards: There are three types of special cards, King, Heavenly Sweeper, and Earthly Sweeper
4. Card ranking: The way to compare the sizes of Mahjong cards is by forming two cards and comparing them with each other. According to the order of the two Mahjong cards added to the sum of both cards' units digit to determine victories and defeats. The general card rankings are: Heavenly Nine > Earthly Nine > Human Nine > Lord Nine > Board Nine > Scramble Nine > Nameless Nine > Heavenly Eight > Earthly Eight and so on. The smallest is Ke (pronounced as 'kao')
