The newly revamped "iRead Taipei Public Library" app is now officially launched, offering a variety of new services!

1. Explore: Provides new book recommendations, popular rankings, and books you might like, allowing you to explore the extensive collection of Taipei Public Library.
2. Support for multiple library cards and mobile borrowing card barcode: Now you can add your own and your family's library cards to the app. You can switch and display your mobile borrowing card barcode at any time when borrowing books, eliminating the need to carry multiple library cards with you. In the app, you can view borrowing, reservation, collection, reading statement points, and other information for each library card. You can also individually maintain notification methods for reserved books to be picked up at the library as well as default pick-up library settings.
3. Message center and push notifications: All notifications related to added library cards will be stored in the message center. When there are new messages, they will be displayed via push notifications, ensuring you do not miss any important information.
4. Library collection search: By entering keywords, you can search the library collection with the support of real-time searching as you type. Just input part of a book title, and it will instantly list books that match the criteria. It also offers an advanced book searching function that allows you to add multiple conditions, types, library locations, etc., to more precisely find the library resources you need. Additionally, you can directly scan the ISBN barcode of a book for quick access to detailed book information.
5. Clearer book information: Displays the most detailed collection information, reservation details, book information on a single page without the need to switch back and forth between different pages.
6. Mobile borrowing: Scan the library barcode to borrow books instantly without the need to queue at the counter, saving your valuable time.
