The official app of the Korean King James Bible Preservation Society has been launched.

The Bible serves as a standard by which doctrine is measured; thus, it is imperative that this standard remain unaltered to ensure accurate understanding. God does not provide illumination of His truth to those who do not acknowledge His absolute authority. While many discuss the need for reform, genuine reform can only be achieved by returning to the unaltered Word of God and recognizing its authority. The Lord reveals His will through "books," as stated in 1 Samuel 3:1, 7, 19, 21. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit guides believers according to what is articulated in Scripture (John 16:13). God reveals His intentions solely to those who fear His Word. He does not fulfill His will through Bibles that diminish the deity of Christ or through translations that elevate Satan to a position akin to Jesus Christ, as noted in references from Luke 2:33, Acts 8:37, and 1 Timothy 3:16. Consequently, it is clear that the living God does not consider the works derived from corrupted translations as His ministry nor delights in missionary efforts utilizing such texts. Dissemination of these corrupted scriptures is not commended by God, nor does He grant enlightenment through them. Can such texts truly be weapons of the Holy Spirit? The Word of God represents an infallibly inspired text; it requires scrutiny to determine which translations hold this standard. Are you currently holding a Bible that meets this criterion?

The objective behind translating this Bible was singular— to ensure that our people possess the true Word of God. Since releasing the four Gospels under the title 'New Bible' in 1988, followed by the publication of the New Testament in 1990 and the complete 'Korean King James Bible' in 1994, the translation effort has been steadfast. The Old Testament was translated directly from the preserved Hebrew Masoretic text of the King James Bible; similarly, the New Testament was initially translated from the Greek standard text with careful alignment to King James vocabulary. We aimed to bridge inevitable linguistic gaps that arise when translating Hebrew, Greek, and English into Korean by comparing and projecting across these languages. Furthermore, we strived to avoid rigidly adhering to a predetermined set of translation principles and opted for expressions that were deemed superior based on our evolving understanding of language. In doing so, we consciously disregarded cultural and traditional biases tied to familiar translations like 개역한글판성경 (Revised Korean Version), and we did not rely exclusively on Young’s Concordance but rather endeavored to create a new concordance based on our translation's vocabulary to enhance both coherence and meaning.

This Bible is a double-edged sword of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 4:12), incomparable to any flimsy representations seen thus far; it is the sharp sword that will emerge from the Lord's mouth upon His return (Revelation 19:15). Believers who arm themselves with this sword will see malevolent spiritual forces dissipate. Regardless of whether it's Hebrew, Greek, or English, all foreign texts represent languages for our nation. While some praise foreign language Bibles, for those unfamiliar with these languages, they are nothing but inaccessible illustrations. For Koreans, only a well-translated Korean Bible holds value and can serve as God's absolute authority. As corrupted scriptures cannot constitute God's inspiration or infallible Word, we have now come into possession of copyright-preserved versions in Korean. It is hoped that readers pay careful attention to how accurately these original meanings have been translated into our language.

With this new translation, countless documents previously based on the King James Bible can now be translated and published without limitation, which brings immense gratitude. As these works reach believers' hands and are read widely, liberal faith perspectives are likely to diminish, revealing the identities of false ministers and scholars; thus, a long-desired wave of true reform will sweep across this land, leading an increasing number of people who believe in Scripture to eagerly anticipate the Lord's return.
