The Defense Mobile Security (Foreigner) app is a new concept smartphone application that controls the functions of mobile phones, including the camera, for permanent and daily visitors to the Ministry of National Defense.

Replacing the security sticker attached to existing mobile phone cameras, this app blocks camera functions such as shooting to prevent any attempted leakage of military information at its source.

It maximizes the convenience of visitors to the Ministry of National Defense and does not collect any personal information when operating the app. (No personal information is entrusted to third parties)

Camera Blocking Method:

1. Run the security app
2. Recognize or manually block using NFC device installed in English
3. Complete camera blocking

Additional Function Blocking Method:

1. Run the security app
2. Recognize or manually block using NFC device installed at the main building entrance
3. Complete blocking of additional functions (recording, USB, WiFi, tethering)

* Additional function blocking is not supported for daily visitors and is only available for permanent visitors with Samsung/LG phones.

Allowing Additional Functions:

1. Run the security app
2. Recognize NFC device installed at the main building exit
3. Allow additional functions (recording, USB, WiFi, tethering)

Allowing Camera:

1. Run the security app
2. Recognize beacon device installed in English
3. Complete allowing camera

App Access Rights Information:

In accordance with Article 22-2 of the Information and Communication Network Act (Consent to Access Rights), we provide information on the access rights used when using the app service.

Mandatory Access Rights:

• Storage: Used for storing log files

Optional Access Rights:

• Location: Used when allowing camera
• Bluetooth: Used when allowing the camera

* Even if you do not approve optional access rights, you can still use the service excluding those functions.

Device Administration Authority:

The Defense Mobile Security app uses device administration authority. This authority is only used for camera control and not for any other purpose.

User Privacy Policy (Terms of Use):

The Defense Mobile Security app does not collect or handle any user's personal information.
