Pixiu is designed for those who embrace long-termism. The foundation of Pixiu lies in financial accounting logic. There are two main threads in finance: income and expenses, assets and liabilities, and the "cash flow" that connects the two.

For most people, there are three stages of accounting: income and expense accounting, asset and liability accounting, lifestyle.

When students are just starting school, studying abroad or entering society for the first time, with few assets and liabilities, they need to pay more attention to their income and expenses. This stage is the best opportunity to develop good spending habits. With Pixiu's detailed income and expense items and budgeting, you can sort out and control your expenses.

As we work for some time and our income increases, having cultivated good spending habits in the first stage, we start to accumulate more assets. At this point, we may begin buying houses and cars, needing to record and manage related debts and credits, which is where Pixiu's richer account types and transactions come in handy.

As Pixiu is used more frequently, various investments, insurance products, etc., will accompany our progress in life, so Pixiu's full capabilities will start to emerge.

How to Start Using Pixiu:

1. Create a ledger. Ledger data is completely independent between ledgers; there are no relationships. In daily life, we encounter many scenarios such as weddings, renovation, or travel that would typically use separate ledgers in other apps but can be managed by creating corresponding tags in Pixiu.
2. Set up all accounts. This includes cash on hand, various bank cards, credit cards, WeChat balances, Alipay balances, fuel cards, State Grid power cards, as well as various existing debts and credits. After setting up accounts, adjust balance transactions to ensure all current account balances are correct.
3. Adjust income and expense items. By default, detailed income and expense items are created when setting up a ledger; however, they can be added, modified or deleted according to personal needs.
4. Start recording normally.

Multi-Currency Support:

In Pixiu, multi-currency support is tied to accounts. When creating an account, you can select the currency; then when recording expenses use the corresponding account for billing purposes. For cross-currency transfers within accounts in Pixiu, currency conversion is applied.

Accounts:

• Credit cards: Cards with overdraft limits; this category includes credit cards like Ant Credit Pay and Jingdong White Bar.
• Receivables: Money received from others for future offsets against corresponding expenses.
• Loans: Borrowed money from others or bank loans.
• Cash: Money in hand - though rarely used today.
