After nearly a decade and a half of hard work, Dr. Muhammad Mujibur Rahman completed the Bengali translation of Tafsir in 1984. The Tafsir consists of a total of 9 books by Ibn Kasir, composed in 18 volumes. However, for your convenience, we have condensed it into 18 volumes, organized according to the 114 Surahs of the Quran.

We have included the number of verses in each Surah and their position in the sequence. In these sections of Tafsir, selective Israeli narratives and weak or fabricated Hadiths have been omitted.

In each part of the Tafsir, different headings have been included to facilitate discussions on specific topics, thereby aiding readers in finding discussions on specific topics.

In addition, the source numbers for cited Hadiths have also been included. Where certain Arabic words in the Quran may not be correctly written or pronounced in Bengali, the Arabic words have been provided alongside them.

Tafsir Ibn Kasir in Bengali primarily offers an explanation of the 114 Surahs of the Quran.
