WordMemorizer is a free application designed to assist users in memorizing English vocabulary.

The learning process begins with the selection of one or more word categories, which unlocks the relevant vocabulary. There are three training modes available:

• Select the correct translation from the provided options;
• Type (or dictate) the translation of a given word;
• A comprehensive option where, for each word, users first select from the Russian translation, then choose from the English translation, and finally write the English translation.

Within the training settings, there are several customization options available:

• Choose to focus on either English or Russian words;
• Option to display or hide transcription;
• Enable automatic pronunciation playback of the English word after each selection;
• Adjust the number of answer choices when selecting words;
• Save or delete the history of all unfinished lessons;
• Change the background color;
• Select the pronunciation style (American or British) for English words.

By clicking on the bottom line showing the number of words, users can view all words from their selected categories, including the English word, its transcription, and Russian translation, as well as listen to the pronunciation of each English word. In the word list window for a specific category, users can filter to show only correctly guessed words by clicking on "Correct" (in green) or those incorrectly guessed by clicking on "Incorrect" (in red).

The statistics feature allows users to review the number of correct and incorrect answers for each category. It is also possible to initiate a lesson focused either on the incorrectly answered words or all words within selected categories.

The built-in dictionary allows users to search for either an English or Russian word based on their settings. Additionally, various search rules can be applied:

• By initial letters of a word;
• Anywhere within a word.

This dictionary permits editing, adding, and deleting words along with their translations, transcriptions, and categories through a contextual menu. Multiple categories can be assigned to a single word by separating them with commas. Users can also remove selected category words or rename categories. A setting in the dictionary allows for displaying all recently viewed words in cases where the search bar is empty; by default, all words from the dictionary are shown.

Users can import vocabulary from Excel files (.xls) or text files in a specific format:

• Column 1: English word
• Column 2: Transcription
• Column 3: Russian translation
• Column 4: Category

The default delimiter for text format is ";" . The application also allows users to export their entire dictionary or selected category words into an Excel file or text file in a similar format. Furthermore, files can be sent directly to any user through installed messaging or email applications.
