Guss and Ann are researchers at the Abnormal Graveyard Research Center (AGRC). Guss has been tasked with exploring a group of European tombs dating back to the Renaissance period. This mission has a security level of S (second highest). Normally rational, Guss has unexpectedly requested assistance through AGRC's emergency channel.
Since a subjective judgment on a C-level mission in 2015 resulted in its escalation to an S-level, Ann hasn't been assigned any substantial tasks. As a result, they were reassigned to the assistance department.
Ann promptly rushed from Base 356 in Xi'an upon receiving the assistance order.
As the tomb came into sight, Ann already sensed an eerie atmosphere that made them uneasy. Their experience told them that European tombs differ from Chinese ones they had encountered before, and perhaps more unnerving phenomena may surface.
Just as Ann was about to reach the gates of the cemetery, the phone rang...
