This application serves as a comprehensive tool for ensuring the smooth conduct of memorial services, featuring a 10-page record book for the deceased (※1).

By simply registering details of the deceased and specifying the check periods, users can promptly identify upcoming memorial services or schedule the next one at any time. The use of application badges (※2) and background operation capabilities (※3) ensures that no imminent memorial service is overlooked.

The management functionalities for the deceased’s information are extensive and adaptable, complemented by external interface options. Data has robust preservation capabilities, allowing for secure storage and ease of reuse of entered information.

Particularly noteworthy is the backup and restore feature utilizing iCloud, recommending it for users managing multiple devices or requiring information sharing. When combined with iTunes file sharing and iCloud, critical data can be distributed across multiple locations securely.

This application is suitable for managing information regardless of the memorial’s cultural context, whether in Eastern or Western traditions. For a simplified solution, the free one-page version, “Memorial Checklight,” is also available.

<li>Supports input and output of comma-separated files via iTunes file sharing; including simplified input for only essential fields (name, pronunciation, memorial day).</li>

<li>Includes calendar synchronization features.</li>
<li>Provides templates for email creation and sending.</li>
<li>Supports pre-ceremonial night memorial services (※4).</li>
<li>Features a 10-page list interface for managing deceased individuals’ information.</li>

Note:

<ul>
<li>This software is incompatible with jailbroken devices.</li>
<li>※1) Page changes in the record book are performed via swipe; however, unintended swipes may cause accidental page shifts that could seemingly delete all data related to a deceased individual. Please select pages carefully by swiping as needed.</li>
<li>※2) If application badges are bothersome, their display can be disabled in “Settings.app”.</li>
<li>※3) It is not necessary to keep the application in the foreground at all times, but it must remain running in the background to ensure proper operation.</li>
<li>※4) For memorial services held on the day before the memorial anniversary, enable “Urin Kengyo” in “Settings.app”. Subsequently registered memorial dates will automatically shift to one day earlier to accommodate this setting.</li>
