We are adding two new Mira options specifically for kiosk and installation displays. The “Hide Config Menu” option will disable the menu button that normally enables the user to connect and disconnect from various instances of Max. The other option includes “Connect to USB Automatically” and “Connect to WiFi Automatically.” As you can guess, these options will cause Mira to connect to local Max instances without needing to open the setup menu. These settings, available from the Mira section of the Settings app, make it easier to use Mira for public displays without the added risk of users accidentally disturbing the configuration. This version of Mira supports live.meter~, which provides finer detail than the standard meter~ and a lingering clipping indicator We hope that live.meter~ support will make it easier to build the interfaces that you want with Mira. Finally, we’ve made numerous small tweaks to Mira, resolving a handful of display and stability bugs. |
