Blahker 巴拉剋 1.1.0

Safari browser extension designed to block overlay ads. Currently supports popular Taiwanese websites such as Liberty Times, Apple Daily, China Times, United Daily, Central News Agency, NOWnews, Sina, Eastern Broadcasting, Commonwealth Magazine, Sanlih E-Television, Mobile01, PIXNET, Xuite, Techbang, and more. The extension updates periodically and welcomes user submissions for new ad-blocking suggestions. Utilizes iOS-specific ad-blocking API for privacy and security.

Encountering overlay ads while browsing can be disruptive as they often appear suddenly, irrelevant to the content, and challenging to close. Blahker was created to combat this intrusive advertising experience. Its name combines "blah" with "blocker," phonetically translated into Chinese as "巴拉剋."

While recognizing that ads are vital revenue sources for many websites, Blahker targets specifically annoying and irrelevant overlay ads without aiming to eliminate all advertising. The extension currently includes cover ad blocking rules for several common Taiwan websites and plans to focus on Taiwanese sites moving forward.
