Join us! UpdateStar is looking for the first 1000 partners

November 05, 2007 - We are inviting all potential partners, such as press and media publishers, software and hardware vendors to become UpdateStar partners, and to provide their audience with their own affiliate enabled UpdateStar version. UpdateStar offers licensing options for thousands of products and pays partners referral fees over an unlimited time span. Long term, this is seen as being far more profitable than any newsletter, coupon or banner campaign can ever be, because these methods generate only a one-time payback. As long as sales are being tracked UpdateStar pays referral fees for a user’s installation over a lifetime.

How does it work?

As an UpdateStar partner you simply create an installation base with your UpdateStar partner version by providing UpdateStar to thousands of users. You then receive referral fees from the software licensing revenues created by your user base. UpdateStar partners profit from affiliate margins created by UpdateStar users ranging from 3%-10% of revenues created from installations of the partner version. Below you can find a list of business sectors that qualify to become an UpdateStar partner:

  • Web Portals
  • Internet Services Provider
  • Computer Magazine Publisher
  • Download Websites
  • Software Vendors (ISVs)
  • Hardware Vendors (IHVs)
  • System Builders/OEMs

UpdateStar has partnered with industry-leading e-commerce providers such as Commission Junction, oneNetworkDirect, amazon, Regnow and many more to support the UpdateStar partner program. This allows us to offer our partners a brand new revenue stream for their business.

Interested? You can start providing your own UpdateStar partner version to your audience immediately! Register now as an UpdateStar partner using our online application form.

You will receive an e-mail with a download link to your UpdateStar partner version afterwards.
